SASSA Takes Services to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies into the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering solutions such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it is alarmed about the superior quantity of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a significant variety read more of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's read more no fully functional office committed to service the area every day. The assistance stage made for intervention experiences a substantial inflow of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it difficult to the Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more means to allow the servicing of all buyers and increase entry to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
